OpTic Competitive

OpTic Competitive as already had its up and downs, we have had about 3 roster changes to find the perfect chemistry.  Once we found out A2Eaton is going to compete again, we picked him up to try and bring back old teamwork.  Nerve, Di3seL, GunDeeeZy, and A2Eaton have known each other for over 3 years now, competing together in Gamebattles matches along with other tournaments and ladders.  So far we have done well building a record of 73-13 beating some top 25 teams and also building on teamwork each day only shows promise for the future.

OpTic Competitive started off with a roster of Nerve, Di3seL, GunDeeeZy, and Hippo before Hippo decided to join another team due to the fact he felt our team chemistry wasn't up to par with other teams, even tho we were winning and had a 19-2 record before he left.  This really hurt OpTic Competitive right off the start due to the fact we was in the Gamestop 4v4 Tournament and couldn't complete it because of the roster lock.  So OpTic Competitive had to forfeit its first tournament which hurt as we were wanting to use that tournament as a building block; To help get OpTic Gaming to the top of the competitive scene.

Once Hippo left we had to fill a void in our 4th spot, picking up Hype a long time friend of each member of the team.  We know the skill level of Hype and he can always compete with the best but after going 25-10 picking up from the old record of 19-2 we noticed, we will never get to the top spot with that team, so we had to look for a 4th that could fit our style of play.  We didn't drop Hype because of his skill, because he could be on any top team, his style of play just didn't fit ours.

Once again looking for a fourth we picked up zttv, which was a great pick up.  When we started off, we started off hot.  We beat 3 top 50 teams on Gamebattles easy on our first 3 matches.  But those wins were only off true skill of each player not teamwork, once we ran into a team that had any type of teamwork it was hard for us to win due to the fact we had no chemistry what so ever.  We later restarted our GB team due to the fact we wanted to be certain how we was doing with our new fourth so we could track the matches and see where we felt this line up could place us in future tournaments. Unfortunately Zttv couldn't be on as much and left us with another problem in finding someone that could not only be on, but help us determine our future as we have been just spinning our wheels for the first two months of the game.

Now, we have picked up a long time friend and old teammate in A2Eaton (We call him Beasty).  In his first match he posted 50+ kills which already sparked a old flair of teamwork we had so long ago.  Since the restart we have built to a 73-13 record beating top teams along the way.  We hope to keep getting better for upcoming tournaments to help get OpTic back to the top spot in the competitive scene once again.
